The need to foster a culture of security among citizens in today’s changing realities is highlighted. This growing awareness has led to increased interest in exploring the psychological and social dimensions of the culture of security. Safety psychology contributes to a deeper understanding of the risks that may emerge in various areas of daily life. The article examines how emotional states influence the perception and assessment of risk, as well as individuals’ responses to hazardous situations. Particular attention is discusses to the social environment, as it plays a key role in shaping attitudes toward safety.
